Storying STEM

Two Native educators invite the audience to sit in on their conversation about “making and tinkering” as they share insights about connecting culture to STEM education and ways to enhance students’ love of learning.
Dr. Danielle Lansing (Diné) is a faculty member at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, a tribal college located in Albuquerque, NM.
Dr. Sharon S. Nelson-Barber, a sociolinguist, directs the Culture & Language in STEM Education in WestEd’s Science and Engineering division.
